It is not a beach that is easily accessible to everyone as one have to take a motorboat to reach the beach from Om Beach. Hindus don’t mind washing away their sins in holy water. Koti tirtha is one of those places that religious Hindus like to visit. It is a man-made tank but have been used to immerse and wash away the sins of their past. The tank has temples around it making it a beautiful place in the morning and in the evening.

7. Maha Ganpati Temple

Another temple for devotees from all around the country is this Maha Ganpati Temple. Dedicated to Lord Ganesha, this temple is again close to Mahabaleshwar Temple. It is said that a devotee must visit this temple and take Lord Ganesha’s belssings before going to the Mahabaleshawar Temple. Also, we noticed that most temples are close to each other in Gokarna.

Whenever one goes on a tour, they like to check new things and new food items. Namaste Café in Gokarna is one unconventional café that offers finger licking snacks and food at a reasonable price. When you are at Om Beach, famished after long walks and adventure, you must hop on to this café.

How to Reach Gokarna?

Gokaran is connected by direct buses from cities Mysore, Goa, Hyderabad, Kochi, and Bangalore. You can also take a taxi from these places for a wonderful road trip with friends.

The nearest airport is Vasco Da Gama Airport, Goa, which is 154 kilometers away from Gokarana.

The nearest railway station is Gokarna railway station which is only 9 kilometers away from the city.

Best Time to Visit Gokarna

As the place is full of beaches, avoid rainy season as it won’t be idle to roam around. The best time to visit Gokarna is in the season October to March.
